Influential graffiti artist such as SEEN, TWIST, AMAZE, KETONE, JONONE, and KATSU have had their tags motion captured using the Graffiti Analysis software.

All tags created in Graffiti Analysis are saved as Graffiti Markup Language (GML) files, a new digital standard used by other popular graffiti applications such as Laser Tag and EyeWriter.

Graffiti Analysis 2.0 is an open source project that is available online for free in OSX, Windows and Linux. You can download the 2 applications from ===> HERE < ===. Graffiti writers are invited to capture and share their own tags, and computer programmers are invited to create new applications and visualizations of the resulting data.

What Martha Cooper did for archiving graffiti on film, and Chalfant/Silver did for archiving graffiti in video, Graffiti Analysis intends to do for archiving graffiti in code.

The project aims to build the worlds largest archive of graffiti motion, and bring together two seemingly disparate communities that share an interest hacking systems, whether found in code or in the city.

The movie tells the story of a road trip through the Romanian freestyle snowboard scene.

With professional snowboarders from countries like Slovakia, France, Poland or Hungary we met up with locals and professional riders from Romania to discover the Carpathian mountain region. Interesting interviews about the development of sport and scene but also problems young Romanian riders have to deal with are completed with the most progressive eastern European freestyle snowboarding.

Traiesc printre noi, dar nu-i cunoastem. Prin nimic nu-si tradeaza pasiunea ascunsa aproape de viciu. Ei sunt cei care ne deseneaza orasul. CAGE a acceptat sa vorbeasca despre pasiunea sa ilegala, dar numai din spatele anonimatului pentru a nu avea probleme cu autoritatile care ii vaneaza pe cei ca el. A inceput sa deseneze in urma cu 11 ani, pe cand era elev la liceu. Acum se poate considera un veteran al graffiti-ului din Romania.

Oamenii de la Cast (Celalalt si Heas) lanseaza primul videoclip oficial de graffiti din Romania! Vor sustine apoi un concert de lansare a single-ului “E graffiti!!!”, cantand atat piese abia extrase din studio ce vor fi incluse pe cel de al doilea material al lor, cat si piese pe care fanii deja le cunosc.

In a doua faza a show-ului ii veti vedea pe RapArta (Gnom si Costel), care vor antrena publicul cu piese clasice, dar vor interpreta si piese in premiera! Il veti putea asculta si pe Costel aka Acelash, cu niste piese de pe primul sau album solo “E bine rau”, album lansat recent.

A short time later he was appointed from the former communistic general secretary of Romania, Nicolae Ceausescu, to present the sport snowboarding during a big winter event to the whole nation.

With the years a passionate scene developed in the Transylvanian mountain region in Romania. They dedicated their whole attention to develop that new sport in their way in the whole country. Self-made snowboards due to the bad economic situation most people have been into, problems with resorts, missing snowparks and the general unacceptance towards the sport have been the scene’s daily routine. But still no one got discouraged and tried to achieve and live his dream of snowboarding.

The documentary “From ROMANIA with LOVE” tells the story of a road trip through the Romanian freestyle snowboard scene. With professional snowboarders from countries like Slovakia, France, Poland or Hungary they met up with locals and professional riders from Romania to discover the Carpathian mountain region. Interesting interviews about the development of sport and scene but also problems young romanian riders have to deal with are completed with the most progressive eastern European freestyle snowboarding. The project connects young people from 6 different countries by one passion.

After projects in Poland (2007) and Slovakia (2008) “From ROMANIA with LOVE” is the third episode out of the eastern European snowboard documentaries produced by BLICKINSFREIE. Producer René Eckert grown up in a former communistic country himself shares also his passion of snowboarding with these projects. His aim is to bring young snowboard professionals from eastern Europe together for projects like this which enables them to get noticed in the media outside the country but also realized by potential international sponsors. He is trying to help them realizing their dream of becoming a professional snowboarder.

The movie will be presented on a big premiere tour through Europe from October till December 2009. Of course big after parties with live concerts and DJ’s are inclusive in most of the premiere stops. Furthermore the new flick from Pirate Movie Production “Jolly Roger” will also be screened at some of the premiere tour stops.

Ce este?
Descopera Bucuresti ID este o actiune avand ca scop redescoperirea identitatii zonei Rahova Uranus prin intermediul unei competitii de “Chalk Graffiti”. Participantilor li se va cere sa realizeze desene sugestive avand ca tema “identitatea zonei Rahova Uranus”.

Cine organizeaza?
Organizatorul principal este Urban Guerrilla, o asociatie internationala non-profit cu un interes profund pentru spatiul public, arta urbana si interventii stradale. Partenerii principali sunt: Space Syntax, The Ark.

“Misiunea” (asa cum am numit evenimentele noastre) este adresata tuturor persoanelor, care se bucura de spatiul public, care sunt interesate de descoperirea oraselor, socializare si distractie.

Cum facem?
Evenimentul va fi organizat pe durata unei zile de sambata. Participantii vor fi organizati in echipe (fie se vor inscrie ca echipe deja formate, fie se vor inscrie individual) si vor fi grupati in echipe cu alti participati. Echipelor li se vor pune la dispozitie creta colorata si 2mp de asfalt si li se va cere sa realizeze un desen avand ca tema concept “Identitatea zonei Rahova Uranus”. In acelasi timp li se va cere sa gaseasca un nume sugestiv pentru lucrarea realizata.

Juriul va judeca cele mai sugestive desene. Se vor acorda premii avand in vedere originalitatea interpretarii temei.
