O.K. let me set the record straight about this picture. I grew up in Jay till I graduated and joined the Navy, I still have family there. It was really funny when I seen this picture and all the speculation behind it. O.K. here we go. This building was opened up in the mid to late 80's by a couple from Brewton, Al. as an video arcade (hence the Pac-man paintings). Yes the paw print is from the Jay High School Royals Lion mascot. I was there when the high school kid painted the whole wall. It was never a grease trap diner. As a matter of fact after the arcade closed it was never much of anything there. Also my whole life living in Jay I never even knew anyone who belonged to the nudist colony. It would be correct to say "A majority of it's citizens are farmers". Historically maybe in the 60's and 70's Jay had members of the KKK there but a stronghold? lol. Does no one know or remember that in 1970 Jay had the second largest discovery of oil in the country, behind that of the one discovered in Alaska in 1968?
