Urban Funke, Barcelona, SpainUrban Funke Barcelona 2007 is a two-day event showcasing music, art and sports exhibitions that facilitate the development of international and national urban culture.

The event will be hosted from June 29th, 2007 through to June 30th, 2007 with the grand opening on June 28th, 2007. The event will take place both during the day and at night. Urban Funke proudly presents music acts such as Grand Master Flash and will headline more than 30 graffiti artists from around the world.

Various events will be held in multiple venues in the city of Barcelona, Spain. Venues will be both indoors, at galleries and clubs, and outdoors, at Plaza Espana and Plaza Poble Espanyol.

Urban Funke Barcelona 2007 presents:

„Skate Games”, the first Skateboard Olympics in Barcelona, also known as Olipimiadas de Skate. The competition is based off of and influenced by the original Olympic Games and will include skill tests such as high jump, long jump, fence jumping, and relay.

Urban Funke‘s Olimpiadas de Skate has been developed to challenge and change the face of skateboarding competitions. Each competitor will be awarded metals and prizes according to skill.

Urban Funke presents two graffiti exhibitions:

On June 8th, 2007 Vallery will host the opening of the PMKFA exhibition and on June 21st, 2007 Iguapop Gallery, will host the grand opening of „Art on Foam” (Quicksilver). „Art on Foam” showcases customized surf boards created by a multitude of graffiti artists including Adam Neate, Dave Kinsey, Flying Fortress, François Lartigau, Jean Linhoff, Jeff Raglus, Jono Word, Lucy McLauchlan, Marcie O’neill, Mr Jago, Nicolas Thomas, Ozzy Wright, Peter Webb, Randy Noborikawa, Reg Mombassa, Tinho, and Will Barra.
