SEEN’s new show SEEN: Graffiti Loser will open at the AMUTI Gallery in London, April 18th, 2008 and remain on display through April, 30th.
Considered by many to be the godfather of graffiti, New York born Richard „SEEN” Mirando returns to London with an exhibition to showcase 40 new works, all part of a limited signed series, featuring his distinctive lettering and tags which this time are hand-painted onto original New York Subway maps. A very personal collection, these pieces are indebted to his early work of the 1980s whilst deliberately pursuing new challenges.
